My measurements
For reference (I have 18ft ceiling)
I based my fabric yard amount of 16ft (5.333 yard) where I placed my Curatin Rod (right above the window)
They only sale it by yard so I had to order 6yards (each panel was 6 yards)
It was perfect, because after sealing the trim and edging of the fabric it was just right.

When I completed one panel I used it as a guide for the others so that they would all be the same length. (Make sure you IRON Fabric before installing)

Use thinner fabric for decoration(curtains that will be used for look only) and easier movement.
Use thicker fabric for better coverage. (Keep in mind weight of fabric) you don’t want it too heavy for your rod.

I ordered fabric in person. They did the cuts for me.
